Some clients are having problems accessing their e-mail. This is affecting all electramail accounts and some accounts hosted on ‘Davros’ Please do not change your log-on or password details. An engineer is on site looking into the problem Updates will be posted here when we have news

We have now completed uploading all websites for which hold local backups, and have started building replacements for those that cannot rescued. We will have temporary sites in place for all affected websites by midday today and hope to have completed the full replacements before the end of the week. We would like to thank all of our clients for their support over the last 48 hours

All email services have now restored. We have also now completed uploading most of the websites in our control. We will complete these uploads in the morning and will be contacting all clients who manage their own websites. If you manage your own website you can now upload it to the server using your usual login and passwords.

All email services are now being restored. This should be completed within 2 hours We have also now commenced uploading websites. There are almost 1000 websites to be uploaded so this will take some time but we are hoping to have this almost completed by the morning.

Our engineers have found that the power outage has damaged the file structure of the main storage disc used on Davros making it impossible to transfer data directly to a back-up server.. They will load a new operating system and control panel onto a new disc. Once this has been completed we will have to upload all domains, web-sites etc. individually by hand. Unfortunately this will take several hours but we will work through the night until this is completed and we can put Davros back online.. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Engineers are now onsite looking into the external power problems being experienced at the Data Centre where our servers are based. We will post further updates here as soon as they are available.

Due to external power supply problems Davros, our main server, is at present unobtainable. We have engineers looking into this problem for us and hope to get all services back online as soon as possible. We will post updates here as soon as they are available.

Our Scole office will be without power between 08.45am and 5.00pm today. As a result our incoming email services will be very limited during this period. If you wish to contact us via email during this period please use our datatechdtp@electramail.co.uk email address. Our servers and all of our clients services will not be effected. All email sent to our usual addresses will be dealt with once the power is restored.

Due to adverse weather conditions some clients are experiencing intermittent ADSL (Broadband) connection problems. These are affecting customers of all Internet service providers and are beyond the control of DataTech D.T.P. It is expected that these problems will be rectified within the next 48 hours.
